Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Green onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cabbage leaves - 4, for wrapping
  • Coconut oil - for frying
  • Optional toppings: sliced cucumber, sugar-free mayonnaise, and chili sauce

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, almond flour, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
  2. Take a cabbage leaf and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center.
  3. Fold the sides of the cabbage leaf over the filling and roll it tightly to form a wonton shape. Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Place the wontons in the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve hot with optional toppings like sliced cucumber, sugar-free mayonnaise, and chili sauce.
