Ingredients
- Almond flour - 1 cup
- Psyllium husk powder - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground pork - 200 grams
- Green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium husk powder, salt, and the egg. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth, then let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix the ground pork, green onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper until well combined.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a thin circle, about 10 cm in diameter.
- Place a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center of each circle and fold the dough over to form a triangle, sealing the edges tightly.
- Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer and cook the wontons in batches for about 5-6 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
- Remove the wontons with a slotted spoon and serve immediately with a dipping sauce of your choice.
