Ingredients
- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Coconut flour - 25 grams
- Psyllium husk powder - 10 grams
- Baking powder - 5 grams
- Salt - a pinch
- Egg - 1 large
- Water - 100 ml
- Erythritol - 20 grams
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Unsweetened coconut cream - 30 grams
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, water, erythritol, vanilla extract, and coconut cream until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until a dough forms. Let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the psyllium husk to absorb moisture.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each into a small bun.
- Prepare a steamer by bringing water to a boil. Line the steamer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Place the buns in the steamer basket, making sure to leave space between them for expansion.
- Cover the steamer and steam the buns for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and fluffy.
- Remove the buns from the steamer and let them cool slightly before serving.
