Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Coconut flour - 25 grams
  • Psyllium husk powder - 10 grams
  • Baking powder - 5 grams
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Erythritol - 20 grams
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Unsweetened coconut cream - 30 grams

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, water, erythritol, vanilla extract, and coconut cream until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until a dough forms. Let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the psyllium husk to absorb moisture.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each into a small bun.
  5. Prepare a steamer by bringing water to a boil. Line the steamer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the buns in the steamer basket, making sure to leave space between them for expansion.
  7. Cover the steamer and steam the buns for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and fluffy.
  8. Remove the buns from the steamer and let them cool slightly before serving.
