Ingredients
- Almond flour - 1 cup
- Psyllium husk - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground pork - 200 grams
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coconut oil - for frying
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium husk, egg, and salt to form the wonton dough. Knead until the dough is smooth and pliable.
- In another bowl, mix together ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, sesame oil, cilantro, and black pepper until well combined.
- Divide the wonton dough into small balls (about 15 grams each). Roll each ball into a thin circle on a parchment paper-lined surface.
- Place a small spoonful of the pork filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
- Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the wontons in batches until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove the wontons from the skillet and let them drain on paper towels. Serve hot with extra Sriracha for dipping.
