- Ground pork - 250 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce (or coconut aminos) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Steamer basket - 1
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Prepare a steamer by filling a pot with water and bringing it to a simmer. Line the steamer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Shape the pork mixture into small patties or thick discs and place them in the steamer basket, leaving space between each piece.
- Cover the steamer and steam the patties for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Remove from the steamer and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Keto Siu Mai with a side of soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
