- Shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
- Psyllium husk powder - 2 tablespoons
- Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
- Egg white - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - for frying
Steps
- In a food processor, combine the peeled shrimp, psyllium husk powder, almond flour, egg white, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Blend until the mixture is smooth and forms a dough.
- Transfer the shrimp mixture to a bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes to thicken.
- While the mixture rests, heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, use a spoon to drop small amounts of the shrimp mixture into the oil, flattening them slightly with the back of the spoon.
- Fry the shrimp chips for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
