Ingredients

  • Shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Psyllium husk powder - 2 tablespoons
  • Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg white - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a food processor, combine the peeled shrimp, psyllium husk powder, almond flour, egg white, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Blend until the mixture is smooth and forms a dough.
  2. Transfer the shrimp mixture to a bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes to thicken.
  3. While the mixture rests, heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Once the oil is hot, use a spoon to drop small amounts of the shrimp mixture into the oil, flattening them slightly with the back of the spoon.
  5. Fry the shrimp chips for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve the Keto Shrimp Chips warm, optionally with a dipping sauce of your choice.
