Steps

  1. Rinse the dried lotus seeds under cold water and soak them in warm water for about 30 minutes to soften.
  2. In a medium-sized pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil.
  3. Drain the soaked lotus seeds and add them to the boiling water.
  4. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook the lotus seeds for about 15-20 minutes or until they are tender.
