Ingredients
- Almond flour - 200 grams
- Psyllium husk - 10 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Ground pork - 250 grams
- Shredded cabbage - 50 grams
- Chopped green onions - 30 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce (or coconut aminos) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Water - 50 milliliters
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour and psyllium husk. Add the egg and gradually mix in water until a dough forms. Knead until smooth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix ground pork, shredded cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle on a floured surface.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the pork filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
- Steam the jiaozi for about 15 minutes or pan-fry in a non-stick skillet with a little oil until browned on the bottom and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve hot with soy sauce or a keto-friendly dipping sauce.
