Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 200 grams
  • Psyllium husk - 10 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Ground pork - 250 grams
  • Shredded cabbage - 50 grams
  • Chopped green onions - 30 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Soy sauce (or coconut aminos) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Water - 50 milliliters

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour and psyllium husk. Add the egg and gradually mix in water until a dough forms. Knead until smooth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix ground pork, shredded cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle on a floured surface.
  4. Place about 1 tablespoon of the pork filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
  5. Steam the jiaozi for about 15 minutes or pan-fry in a non-stick skillet with a little oil until browned on the bottom and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with soy sauce or a keto-friendly dipping sauce.
