- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
- Cauliflower - 200 grams, riced
- Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
- Bok choy - 100 grams, chopped
- Chicken broth - 500 ml
- Cilantro - for garnish
- Chili oil - for serving (optional)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onions, salt, black pepper, and almond flour. Mix well and form into 2 equal-sized patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add riced cauliflower, shiitake mushrooms, and chopped bok choy. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for another 5-7 minutes, letting the flavors meld together.
- To serve, place a beef patty in a bowl and ladle the hot broth and vegetables around it. Garnish with fresh cilantro and drizzle with chili oil if desired.
