- Shirataki noodles - 200 grams
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Rinse the Shirataki noodles under cold water for 2-3 minutes to remove the odor, then drain and set aside.
- In a large non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the drained Shirataki noodles to the skillet, stirring well to coat them with the garlic and butter.
- Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, mixing until the noodles are evenly coated and heated through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to taste.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions before serving.
