Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 150 grams
  • Psyllium husk - 10 grams
  • Boiling water - 100 milliliters
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground pork - 100 grams
  • Chinese chives (or garlic chives) - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1, beaten (for sealing)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix almond flour, psyllium husk, salt, and boiling water. Stir until a dough forms and let it cool slightly.
  2. In another bowl, combine ground pork, chopped chives, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well to create the filling.
  3. Divide the dough into small equal portions (about 10 pieces). Roll each piece into a circle about 8 cm in diameter.
  4. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges with a beaten egg.
  5. Bring a pot of water to a boil and steam the dumplings for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with extra soy sauce or a dipping sauce of your choice.
