Ingredients
- Green cabbage - 4 large leaves
- Ground pork - 200 grams
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for keto) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cauliflower rice - 100 grams
- Chili sauce (optional) - to taste
Steps
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the cabbage leaves and blanch for 2-3 minutes until they are tender. Remove and place in cold water to stop cooking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Stir in the cauliflower rice into the meat mixture until evenly distributed.
- Lay a blanched cabbage leaf flat on a clean surface. Place about 2-3 tablespoons of the meat mixture at the base of the leaf. Fold the sides over the filling and roll it up tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling.
- In a large skillet, add a splash of water or oil and place the cabbage rolls seam-side down. Cover and cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes, adding a little water if necessary to prevent sticking.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of chili sauce if desired.
