Ingredients
- Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Broccoli florets - 200 grams
- Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (optional, for garnish)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and black pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Add the blanched broccoli to the skillet with the beef. Drizzle with sesame oil and stir-fry everything together for another 2 minutes to combine the flavors.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
