Ingredients
- Almond flour - 120 grams
- Psyllium husk powder - 10 grams
- Baking powder - 5 grams
- Salt - 1 gram
- Egg - 1 large
- Hot water - 60 ml
- Ground pork - 200 grams
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the egg and hot water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and set aside to rest for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix together the ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper until well combined.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and flatten each piece into a disc about 10 cm wide.
- Place a spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each disc and carefully fold the edges over to seal the filling inside, shaping them into buns.
- Prepare a steamer and steam the buns for about 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve hot, optionally with additional soy sauce or dipping sauce.
