- Dried jujube fruit - 200 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
- Honey (optional) - 1 tablespoon
- Chia seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the dried jujube fruit and coconut oil. If desired, add honey for extra sweetness.
- Using a food processor, blend the mixture until it becomes a chunky paste.
- Add almond flour, chia seeds, cinnamon powder, and a pinch of salt to the jujube mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly into a square or rectangular shape, about 1 cm thick.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until slightly firm and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before cutting into bite-sized pieces.
