Ingredients

  • Dried jujube fruit - 200 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey (optional) - 1 tablespoon
  • Chia seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the dried jujube fruit and coconut oil. If desired, add honey for extra sweetness.
  3. Using a food processor, blend the mixture until it becomes a chunky paste.
  4. Add almond flour, chia seeds, cinnamon powder, and a pinch of salt to the jujube mixture. Mix until well combined.
  5. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly into a square or rectangular shape, about 1 cm thick.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until slightly firm and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before cutting into bite-sized pieces.
