- Ground halal beef - 150 grams

- Minced garlic - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Chicken or vegetable broth - 500 milliliters
- Chopped bok choy - 100 grams
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Chili oil - for serving (optional)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped green onions, grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal, creating a dumpling. Repeat until all wrappers are filled.
- In a large pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Carefully add the dumplings to the pot and cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until the dumplings float to the surface and are cooked through.
- Add the chopped bok choy to the pot and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- Taste the broth and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper as needed.
- Serve hot in bowls, with a drizzle of chili oil if desired.
