- Firm Tofu - 100 grams, crumbled
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Cabbage - 100 grams, finely shredded
- Green Onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Rice Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Black Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chili Oil - 1 teaspoon (optional)
- Fresh Cilantro - a handful, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- Cook the wheat noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the crumbled tofu to the pan, cooking for 5-7 minutes until slightly golden.
- Stir in the julienned carrot and shredded cabbage, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and black pepper, stirring well to combine all ingredients.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan, tossing everything together until heated through.
- If desired, drizzle with chili oil for added spice and mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and fresh cilantro.
