- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Spring onions - 2, chopped
- Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon, for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, five-spice powder, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

- Remove the chicken from the marinade, reserving the marinade for basting.
