  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Pineapple chunks - 100 grams, drained
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
  • Chopped green onions - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced red and green bell peppers, sliced red onion, and mushrooms to the saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, tomato paste, cornstarch, and water to create the sweet and sour sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the sautéed vegetables and add the pineapple chunks. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Spread the vegetable and sauce mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
