- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Bell pepper - 1/2, sliced
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
Steps
- In a small bowl, mix the warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place it in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
- While the dough is rising, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground lamb, onion, and garlic, cooking until the lamb is browned. Stir in cumin and black pepper, then remove from heat.
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a circle, about 1/2 cm thick.
- Place the rolled dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the lamb mixture evenly over each pizza base.
- Top each pizza with sliced bell pepper, tomato, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh cilantro, slice, and serve hot.
