Ingredients

  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
  • Sliced cucumbers - 100 grams
  • Sliced tomatoes - 100 grams
  • Peanut sauce (optional) - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, minced ginger, Hunan chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are thoroughly cooked and golden brown.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing the lettuce leaves and patting them dry.
  5. Once the patties are done, place each patty onto a lettuce wrap. Top with sliced cucumbers and tomatoes.
  6. Drizzle with peanut sauce if desired and serve immediately.
