- Chinese eggplant - 2 medium (about 300g)

- Chili paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Wash and slice the eggplants lengthwise into quarters, keeping the skin on.
- In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, gluten-free soy sauce, chili paste, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
- Brush the marinade generously over the cut sides of the eggplant slices.
- Let the eggplant marinate for about 15 minutes to soak up the flavors.
