- whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
- lean beef sirloin - 150 grams, thinly sliced
- bell pepper (red or green) - 1 medium, sliced
- onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Hunan chili paste - 2 tablespoons
- soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- low-fat mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- black pepper - to taste
- sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, Hunan chili paste, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove the beef from the pan and add the sliced bell pepper, onion, and carrot. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- Spread the cooked beef evenly over the pizza dough, then layer the stir-fried vegetables on top.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the pizza.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired, then slice and serve hot.
