Ingredients
- Pork tenderloin - 300 grams
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Hoisin sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Chili paste - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- Slice the pork tenderloin into thin strips, about 1 cm thick.
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili paste, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Add the pork strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the pork from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Reserve the marinade for later use.
- Grill the pork strips for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
- While grilling, heat the reserved marinade in a small saucepan over medium heat until it comes to a simmer and thickens slightly.
- Once the pork is grilled, brush it with the thickened marinade for extra flavor.
- Serve the grilled pork garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
