- Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Spring onions - 2, chopped

Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Wash the eggplants and slice them lengthwise into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili oil, and brown sugar to create the marinade.
