Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 200 grams, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, cut into squares
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, halved
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Skewers - 4-6 pieces (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, chili paste, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting them into suitable sizes for skewering.
  4. After marinating, thread the chicken, bell pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms onto the skewers, alternating between the chicken and vegetables.
  5. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Once hot, place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
