Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the water, honey, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon. Stir well to dissolve the honey.
  2. Add the halved pears to the saucepan and squeeze in the lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.
