Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs - 300 grams, boneless and skinless
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Slice the chicken and serve garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
