Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin - 300 grams
  • Honey - 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (Halal) - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic (minced) - 3 cloves
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green onions (chopped) - for garnish
  • Sesame seeds - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the pork tenderloin into thin slices or bite-sized pieces and add it to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the pork from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid, and place it on the grill.
  5. Cook the pork for 3-4 minutes on each side or until it is nicely charred and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F).
  6. While grilling, you can simmer the leftover marinade in a small saucepan for a few minutes to use as a glaze.
  7. Once cooked, remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Slice the pork if desired, and serve it garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, along with the glaze on top.
