- Pork tenderloin - 300 grams
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Soy sauce (Halal) - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic (minced) - 3 cloves
- Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onions (chopped) - for garnish
- Sesame seeds - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Cut the pork tenderloin into thin slices or bite-sized pieces and add it to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the pork from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid, and place it on the grill.
- Cook the pork for 3-4 minutes on each side or until it is nicely charred and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F).
- While grilling, you can simmer the leftover marinade in a small saucepan for a few minutes to use as a glaze.
- Once cooked, remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Slice the pork if desired, and serve it garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, along with the glaze on top.
