Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Hoisin sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Cucumber - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Carrot - 50 grams, shredded
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Sriracha sauce - 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add cooking oil. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings by slicing cucumber and shredding carrot. Chop green onions.
  5. Toast the burger buns in the same skillet until golden brown.
  6. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, then place the cooked patty on top.
  7. Add cucumber slices, shredded carrot, and chopped green onions on top of the patty.
  8. If desired, drizzle with sriracha sauce for added heat before placing the top half of the bun.
