  • Red bell pepper, diced - 50 grams
  • Carrot, shredded - 30 grams
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce (Halal) - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Szechuan peppercorns, crushed - 1 teaspoon
  • Roasted peanuts, roughly chopped - 30 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish) - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat peanut oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add diced chicken, green and red bell peppers, and shredded carrot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, crushed Szechuan peppercorns, and green onions. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  6. Spread half of the shredded mozzarella cheese on the dough, then evenly distribute the Kung Pao chicken mixture on top.
  7. Finish with the remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle chopped peanuts and sesame seeds over the top.
