- Burger buns - 2, whole wheat preferred
- Cabbage - 100 grams, finely shredded
- Carrot - 1 medium, grated
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Cilantro - a handful, chopped
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken with garlic, ginger, spring onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal patties and refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up.
- While the patties chill, prepare the slaw by mixing the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, mayonnaise, rice vinegar, and chopped cilantro in a separate bowl. Set aside.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
