Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Warm water - 120 ml
  • Active dry yeast - 5 grams
  • Sugar - 5 grams
  • Salt - 3 grams
  • Olive oil - 15 ml
  • Halal chicken breast - 150 grams, cooked and shredded
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Chinese chives - 20 grams, chopped
  • Dried goji berries - 20 grams
  • Mixed Guangxi herbs (like mint, basil, and lemongrass) - 30 grams, chopped
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Soy sauce - 10 ml
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place it in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  5. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to your desired pizza shape and thickness.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, green onions, Chinese chives, goji berries, Guangxi herbs, soy sauce, and black pepper.
  8. Spread the mixture over the pizza base evenly and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve warm.
