  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped

Steps

  1. Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture for about 15 minutes, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Place the tofu slices in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated, and let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  5. Grill the marinated tofu slices for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear and the tofu is heated through.
  6. Remove the grilled tofu from the grill and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
