- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium
- Zucchini - 1 medium
- Green onion - 2 stalks
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Steps
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 2 cm cubes.
- In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them soak for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- While the tofu is marinating, chop the red bell pepper and zucchini into bite-sized pieces, and slice the green onions into 2 cm sections.
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated tofu, red bell pepper, zucchini, and green onion onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
- Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the tofu is golden and the vegetables are tender.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot with a sprinkle of sesame seeds or additional green onion if desired.
