Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder - 300 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Coconut aminos - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Bamboo skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, minced ginger, coconut aminos, sesame oil, honey, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade.
  2. Add the pork cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the soaked bamboo skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
