Ingredients

  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 250 grams

  • Soy sauce (halal) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions (sliced) - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal) - 4

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, chili flakes, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade and stir well to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the shrimp is marinating, soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the soaked skewers, making sure to leave a little space between each shrimp.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
