- Red bell pepper - 1 medium
- Yellow bell pepper - 1 medium
- Green bell pepper - 1 medium
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 30 ml
- Sesame oil - 15 ml
- Honey - 15 ml
- Rice vinegar - 15 ml
- Ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Chili flakes - 1/4 tsp (optional)
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Wash and deseed the bell peppers, then cut them into thick strips.
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, ground black pepper, and chili flakes (if using). Mix well to create the marinade.
- Add the bell pepper strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Thread the marinated bell pepper strips onto skewers, if desired, for easier grilling.
- Grill the peppers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have nice char marks.
- Remove from the grill and let them sit for a minute before serving.
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve warm.
