  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Spring onions - 2, chopped
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, honey, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
  2. Place the mackerel fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
