  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, grated ginger, coconut aminos, sesame oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the mackerel fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
