Ingredients

  • Silken tofu - 200 grams
  • Coconut milk - 100 ml

  • Agar-agar powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a small saucepan, mix the agar-agar powder with 100 ml of water and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring continuously until the agar-agar is completely dissolved.
  2. In a blender, combine the silken tofu, coconut milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Once the agar-agar mixture is boiling and dissolved, pour it into the blender with the tofu mixture and blend for an additional 30 seconds to combine well.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of cold water to create a slurry. Slowly add this slurry to the blender while blending, ensuring everything is well incorporated.
  5. Pour the mixture into small serving cups or bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  6. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with fresh fruit or a drizzle of maple syrup.
