Ingredients

  • Gluten-free dumpling wrappers - 12 pieces
  • Ground pork - 150 grams
  • Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons
  • Minced garlic - 1 clove
  • Grated ginger - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil for frying - 3 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and pinch to seal. Repeat until all wrappers are filled.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the dumplings, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  4. Fry the dumplings for about 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
  5. Add about 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and immediately cover with a lid. Steam the dumplings for about 5-7 minutes until the water has evaporated and the dumplings are cooked through.
  6. Remove the lid and allow any remaining moisture to evaporate for another minute. Serve hot.
