Ingredients
- Gluten-free dumpling wrappers - 12 pieces
- Ground pork - 150 grams
- Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons
- Minced garlic - 1 clove
- Grated ginger - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil for frying - 3 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and pinch to seal. Repeat until all wrappers are filled.
- Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the dumplings, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
- Fry the dumplings for about 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
- Add about 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and immediately cover with a lid. Steam the dumplings for about 5-7 minutes until the water has evaporated and the dumplings are cooked through.
- Remove the lid and allow any remaining moisture to evaporate for another minute. Serve hot.
