Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 200 grams, sliced
- Firm tofu - 150 grams, cubed
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Broccoli florets - 100 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Gluten-free soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken breast with 1 tablespoon of gluten-free soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the cubed tofu and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, then stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until it is no longer pink, stirring frequently.
- Add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the crispy tofu to the skillet. Pour in the remaining 2 tablespoons of gluten-free soy sauce and the sesame oil. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.
