Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 200 grams, sliced
  • Firm tofu - 150 grams, cubed
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Gluten-free soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken breast with 1 tablespoon of gluten-free soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the cubed tofu and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, then stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until it is no longer pink, stirring frequently.
  5. Add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the crispy tofu to the skillet. Pour in the remaining 2 tablespoons of gluten-free soy sauce and the sesame oil. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.
