Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 200 grams, sliced into thin strips
  • Green beans - 150 grams, trimmed
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Gluten-free soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 50 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced chicken with gluten-free soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
  4. Add the trimmed green beans to the skillet and stir-fry for another 4-5 minutes, until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the water to help steam the beans and create a bit of sauce. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
