Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 250 grams, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 200 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Gluten-free soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken breast with cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of gluten-free soy sauce, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the broccoli by blanching it in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until bright green. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and slightly golden.
  5. Add the blanched broccoli to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the remaining gluten-free soy sauce with 100 ml of water and pour it over the chicken and broccoli. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  7. Season with black pepper to taste and remove from heat. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
