Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Firm tofu - 150 grams, cubed
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Gluten-free soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 60 milliliters
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the beef slices with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the cubed tofu and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside with the beef.
  5. Add the broccoli, red bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet, stir-frying for about 4-5 minutes until just tender.
  6. Return the beef and tofu to the skillet. Pour in the gluten-free soy sauce, sesame oil, and water, mixing well to combine.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through. Stir in the chopped green onions just before serving.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
