Ingredients
- Gluten-free all-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Warm water - 120 milliliters
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ground pork - 100 grams
- Shredded cabbage - 50 grams
- Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes on a floured surface until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix the ground pork, shredded cabbage, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic until well combined.
- Divide the rested dough into 4 equal portions and flatten each into a circle about 10 cm in diameter.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dough circle. Gather the edges of the dough and pinch them together to seal the baozi tightly.
- Prepare a steamer by lining it with parchment paper. Place the baozi in the steamer, leaving space between each one.
- Steam the baozi over boiling water for about 15-20 minutes until they are fluffy and cooked through. Serve warm.
