Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Broccoli - 150 grams, cut into florets
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 100 ml

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, ginger, and cornstarch to create a marinade. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the tofu and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the tofu to the skillet and add the water. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
