Ingredients

  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 250 grams
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Bell pepper (red or yellow), sliced - 1 medium
  • Carrot, julienned - 1 medium
  • Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
  • Soy sauce (Kosher) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and black pepper to create a marinade for the shrimp. Add the shrimp to the bowl and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. While the shrimp is marinating, prepare the vegetables: wash and cut the broccoli, slice the bell pepper, and julienne the carrot.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated shrimp to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
  5. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot to the pan. Stir-fry the mixture for an additional 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Garnish the dish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
