Ingredients

  • Scallops - 300 grams
  • Butter - 50 grams
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced

  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Add the scallops to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and opaque. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in soy sauce and lemon juice, mixing well.
  6. Return the scallops to the skillet, gently coating them in the garlic butter sauce for an additional minute.
